Function / Content

This series consists of pastoral maps which include information on pastoral leases, permits and stock routes; name of pastoral leases or owners, pastoral/permit number, grazing licence number, size of lease, location of lease, surrounding block/lease numbers, stock routes with bore locations and water resources, roads towns and stations. Some maps contain a legend for road types, towns, and waterways. Scale and size of the maps vary with the scale changing from imperial to metric in the 70s.
